It’s been nearly a decade since the futuristic racing action of F-Zero last sped across our screens with a new console sequel, but last week’s comments from Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto have essentially given the green light to talk of another installment. If it turns out Captain Falcon, Samurai Goroh and the rest of that intergalactic rogues’ gallery of racers are indeed getting ready for a Wii …

Nintendo defends upcoming console Wii U amid reports it’s graphical power can’t match current HD consoles. Is the Wii U capable of processing graphics as technically impressive as the PS3 or Xbox 360? It doesn’t matter, as the gameplay experience is far more important than number-crunching, says Nintendo
