Following recent rumors that Nintendo would drop the price of the Wii from $200 to $150 in mid-May, the company sprang into action earlier than expected for a smaller discount. This move looks to be in service of clearing out inventory in advance of Nintendo’s announcement of a new HD console at or before E3
