Nintendo might transform the Wii U into a full media hub if mentions of early discussions are accurate. AdWeek had heard this weekend that Nintendo had been in talks with “several major media companies,” including music and sports providers in backroom CES chats last month. The console designer was even said considering a cable TV deal with Comcast, similar to the Xbox 360′s live TV….

Crystal Dynamics’ upcoming Tomb Raider game won’t be coming to Nintendo’s new console, the Wii U. At least not anytime soon. In a recently published FAQ on the game, the studio says development of the title started long before Wii U was announced, and that if they did port it to Wii U in the future it would have to be built differently for that platform.

Quickly coming on the heels of talk of a full Wii U app store is a rumor late Monday of Nintendo actively courting iOS developers. The gaming giant was said by a developer talking to Forget the Box to be offering “assistance” porting apps for Apple’s platform to the Wii U
